Labor Day Camping - September 1 to 4, 2006

We went for a great weekend of camping to the south-western part of Colorado. We spent Friday night near Ouray in the Uncompahgre National Forest. We just put the tent up at the Cutler Creek Trailhead and had the whole meadow for ourselves.

On Saturday morning we drove towards Telluride and found an awesome campsite near Woods Lake. All spots are nicely secluded and you really feel like you are almost alone up there in midst of the towering mountains.

On Monday we made our way back towards Denver and stopped at the Black Canyon Nationalpark near Montrose. After doing the rim road we drove down into the canyon for some fishing
